What material are your cheerleading signs made out of?
Our preferred 10mm signs are similar to the 4mm signs—they’re both made from a lightweight, fluted, corrugated plastic. However, these heavy-duty signs are thicker, super durable, and less likely to bend or break during practice or competition. Like with all cheerleading signs, wear and tear should be expected with use in competition and sideline routines. But while both signs are available in a variety of sizes and vividly printed in full-color, single- or double-sided flip, 10mm signs cannot be custom cut. Preferred 10mm signs are only available as square or rectangular cuts and come without handles.
Our economy 4mm signs are the classic option for cheerleading teams. They’re made from a lightweight, fluted, corrugated plastic. 4mm signs can be cut into any shape—like a mascot—come in a variety of sizes, and can be vividly printed in full color, single- or double-sided cheer flip signs. The biggest drawback to 4mm signs is that they are easier to bend than our preferred 10mm options or solidflex 2mm options. Like with all cheerleading signs, wear and tear should be expected with use in competition and sideline routines. But cheerleading teams love how lightweight they are, their affordability, and how creative they can be with their designs.
Note: Due to the nature of use of cheerleading signs in competition and sideline routines, wear and tear should be expected on all sign materials.
What cheerleading sign shapes and sizes do you offer?
We offer cheerleading signs in a variety of shapes and sizes. Common shapes include square, round, and rectangle, but we can also cut custom shapes just for you!
Standard sizes are 16″x16″, 22″x22″, 16″x24″, or 24″x32″, but believe it or not, we can create signs as big as 48″ x 96″!
Can I get different shapes, sizes, and colors in the same cheerleading signs order?
Yes! Feel free to mix and match your shapes and size, colors, and design. Our team will create a custom design just for you.
Which signs are best for competition? Which signs are best for sideline routines?
If your cheerleading routine includes high-impact situations like banging against knees or the floor, 10mm corrugated are recommended. 10mm corrugated signs are thick, and because they’re made of corrugated plastic, they’re less likely to break in those uses. Most cheerleading signs are printed on 4mm corrugated material, so the 10mm corrugated signs are a great, sturdier option.
2mm solidflex signs are made of solid PVC with a slight flex that reduces creasing.
Depending on how you plan to use your different signs, you could mix and match them with different sign materials.
Our double-sided cheer flips signs flip naturally (up and down) in competition and on the sideline. If you would like your cheer signs to flip sideways (left to right), please let us know!
How long does it take to make my cheerleading signs?
After you place your order, regular cheerleading signs ship in 3 to 7 business days. Cheerleading signs with special finishing (such as light-up signs, flip & fold signs, cheer wheels, etc.) ship in 4 to 9 business days. An order is not considered placed until both artwork approval and payment/school purchase order is received. Please note that shipping time is separate and begins after your item has finished production.
Do you offer carrying cases?
Yes! We offer custom cheer sign carrying cases. Our carrying cases make it easy to store and transport your cheerleading signs from practice to competition to gameday and back again. You can include your school or team name, logo, and/or mascot.

What folding (& finishing) options do you offer?
Our most popular signs are standard flat, however, as competition and side line routines get more intricate, we do offer special folding options, including bi-fold, gatefold, and flip & fold signs.
